Hone Connects with Film Industry Pros at Ontario Green Screen Workshop
This past weekend, Hone was excited to join the Ontario Green Screen (OGS) Electric Generator Training Workshop at Pinewood Toronto Studios, where we introduced our forthcoming mobile hydrogen power service to a passionate group of generator operators and film industry professionals.
The event brought together “Genny Ops”—the skilled technicians who manage on-set power across film and television productions. These operators are crucial to keeping every department, from lighting to sound, powered up and running smoothly.
During the workshop, David Hardy from Hone led a focused discussion on the role of hydrogen in clean power solutions, joined by hydrogen experts Ry Smith and Bob Oliver, who shared in-depth technical knowledge. The room was engaged and inquisitive, with great questions around hydrogen safety, fueling logistics, and practical integration on set.
As the entertainment industry continues to look for greener energy alternatives, Hone is proud to be working toward a reliable, zero-emission solution that meets the demanding needs of on-location and studio productions alike.
