Hone Receives TSSA Approval for Hydrogen Fuel Delivery Trailers—A First in Ontario

We’re proud to announce that as of February 1, 2025, Hone received official approval from the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) for the use of our hydrogen fuel block delivery trailers - marking the first such approval in Ontario.

This authorization allows Hone to safely and legally operate hydrogen delivery trailers over the road for mobile power and refuelling applications. It's a critical step that not only enables us to bring our hydrogen power services to life, but also sets a precedent for hydrogen logistics across the province.

Achieving this approval was the result of extensive collaboration with the TSSA and reflects our team's dedication to safety, compliance, and innovation. It lays the groundwork for a more flexible and scalable hydrogen infrastructure—essential for decarbonizing temporary and remote energy use in sectors like film, construction, and event production.

This milestone is one of several in our mission to make clean, mobile hydrogen energy accessible and operational at scale. With regulatory groundwork now in place, Hone is ready to accelerate deployment across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to launch Canada's first mobile hydrogen generator and expand our low-emission power solutions.
